Project Overview & Challenge
The Ferus Method is a 1:1 healthspan coaching practice helping clients live longer, stronger, and more intentionally. The founder had a proven track record with clients—but a scattered online presence and no system to scale his impact.
This wasn’t just a brand problem—it was a UX one.
We needed to create a platform that earned trust fast, educated clearly, and converted intentionally.

Discovery & Research
We treated this like a product, not a general website.
Stakeholder Interviews: I pulled insights directly from client sessions, founder values, and web insights
Competitive Analysis: Mapped the gap between aspirational brands vs. practical coaching services
UX Audit: Identified friction points in the booking process and lack of clarity across messaging
Content System Planning: Designed a blog and resource hub structure to build SEO trust and long-term value
“Most health platforms either overpromise or overwhelm. Ferus needed to meet people where they are—with clarity, not hype.”

Landing Page
Clarity over cleverness.
Built trust through transparent messaging, social proof, and founder voice
Used visual cues and scannable sections to reduce bounce
Smart CTAs that adapt to user intent (read more, book, explore content)
Resources & SEO
From coaching to content engine.
Designed a flexible blog structure to host articles, tools, and lead magnets
Created a system to support future education products (courses, templates, guides)
Responsiveness
Most users arrived on mobile, but the old site didn’t meet them there.
Redesigned for thumb-friendly navigation
Simplified mobile CTAs and load times
Brand Elements
Minimalism meets clinical trust.
Developed a visual identity rooted in natural colors + clarity
Reflected the founder’s tone: grounded, serious, encouraging—not fluffy or trendy
Set guidelines for voice, visuals, and reuse across future formats

Collaboration & Teamwork
Working 1-on-1 with the founder meant I wasn’t just designing—I was guiding.
Created a “Brand Intelligence Hub” in Notion to organize strategy, positioning, and visual direction
Built a custom GPT to generate and organize future blog ideas based on audience pain points
Facilitated visioning sessions to help define the coaching model and educational roadmap

Learnings
The Ferus Method – What I Learned
Working with solo founders requires more leadership and clarity—you're not just designing, you’re guiding.
A clear brand voice is just as important as visuals—especially when trust is the product.
Custom tools (like GPTs) can accelerate creativity and strategy when used with intention.
A strong identity system empowers founders to show up more confidently, consistently, and scalably.
